Aastha Jain has been working with individual adults, adolescents, and children for over
8 years. She provides therapy which allows her to see the person as a whole and not
just focused on symptom removal. She lends her entire presence and understanding
and genuinely believes that help can be given by providing the client with a space,
where there is room for both spoken and unspoken words. She helps people who

Ms. Jain draws on a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and

Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Dialectical
Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), Attachment-Based, Emotionally Focused, Narrative Therapy, Multicultural,
Compassion Focused, Psychodynamic, Eclectic, Exposure Therapy, Interpersonal,
Humanistic, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered,
Coaching, and Strength-Based.
She has worked in a range of settings that include hospitals, schools, colleges, NGOs,
and private practice. Her practice has involved children, adolescents, adults, and
families in outpatient and inpatient settings. She is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and English.
In her work, she strives to understand the person’s underlying internal conflicts and how
they try to cope with their struggles. She helps the client gain true insight and
awareness into themselves so they can see their own patterns more clearly and
develop more autonomy and freedom to respond differently over time.
Aastha has worked in a variety of settings that include community agencies, hospitals,
and private practice.
